A respected entrepreneur, businessman and dealmaker, George Chaconas began his career as an intermediary with Professional Business Brokers, Inc., brokering small to mid-sized privately held businesses. He continued his career working with other merger & acquisition firms including Equitable Business & Financial Services. Mr. Chaconas serves as head of the Southeastern Automotive Division and Harley-Davidson & Powersports Division of Performance Brokerage Services, which he joined in 2012.
Mr. Chaconas attended the University of Miami and received a BA in Finance from the University of South Florida. He is a member of the M&A Source, where he earned the prestigious Mergers & Acquisitions Master Intermediary (M&AMI) designation and is a member of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) and has earned its designation as a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI). He is also an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors (AM&AA), American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), National Powersports Dealer Association (NPDA), Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC), and the Florida Automobile Dealers Association (FADA) . Mr. Chaconas is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the states of Florida, North Carolina, Georgia and Alabama.
