Performance Brokerage Services, North America’s highest volume dealership brokerage firm, is pleased to announce the sale of B&B Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Honesdale, Pennsylvania from Stephen Carmody Sr., Stephen Carmody Jr., and John Carmody to Artem Boguslavskiy and Yan Chertok of EcoDrive.
B&B Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram has been family-owned and operated by the Carmody family in Honesdale for five decades. The dealership group operated on just two acres of land for the first 15 years of business, and in 1985, the three founding partners purchased an additional five acres. Throughout the years, the dealership continued to expand and update their facility, building a new body shop and constructing a new showroom. What started out as a nine-employee dealership group has since grown to 40 employees.
Brothers Steve Carmody Sr. and John Carmody will be retiring, and Steve Carmody Jr., the third partner, will be staying on as General Manager.
Following the sale, departing General Manager, Steve Carmody Sr. remarked, “When our family decided to sell our dealership after 53 years in business, we contacted Performance Brokerage Services for their help. B&B Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram will be renamed Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Honesdale and will remain at 125 Grandview Avenue in Honesdale, Pennsylvania.
