Matt is a Des Moines native and has worked the last 20+ years in his family’s automobile dealership. An entrepreneur at heart with a hunger for success, Matt is extremely excited to be joining the PBS Team. His enthusiasm for creating connections, bringing big dreams to fruition, and striving to meet goals makes Matt a unique and valuable asset to the PBS team. Matt’s work and life experience are rich in community involvement from local charity work, coaching youth sports, serving as a Firefighter for the City of Waukee for 10 years, being a member of the City of Clive Economic Vitality Committee, and years of lifelong relationships maintained throughout the Midwest. Matt is full of positive energy, big ideas and a work ethic that goes largely unmatched.
Matt and his wife of 17 years, Jenn, met and graduated from St. Olaf College. They reside in Waukee, Iowa with their 3 kids. Their spare time is filled with the fun and chaos of raising active children. They are huge sports fans, they love to play tennis, to travel, (especially if there is a live concert involved) and are active members of Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines. Their philanthropic hearts lead them to be involved in many community charities. They can also be found fishing, hunting and enjoying an acreage they own just west of the city.
