Performance Brokerage Services is pleased to announce the sale of Gator Chevrolet in Jasper, Florida from Leland D. Johansen to David Cohen.
Gator Chevrolet was purchased by Johansen in 2016. Since owning the dealership, Johansen has been supporting the community through different events such as Corvettes and Coffee, hosting 92.9 All American Country with Pepsi and pizza, and even celebrated being awarded the 2019 Business of the Year by the Hamilton County Chamber of Commerce. David Cohen began his career in the automotive industry at the young age of 15. His family owned an auto and truck wholesale business for the past 23 years as well four new car franchises. Cohen also owned a private equity company that went public and sold in 2010. His passion and enthusiasm for the automotive industry will be a great addition to the dealership and community. The dealership will retain the name Gator Chevrolet remain at its current location at 208 Hatley Street in Jasper, Florida.
