The transaction brought together two organizations whose experience, values, and long-term objectives aligned to create a strong strategic fit and position the dealerships for continued growth and success.
Founded in 1939 as a Ford tractor dealership in Brenham, Texas, WC Tractor has grown from a single location into one of Texas’ leading agricultural and outdoor power equipment dealership groups. Beginning its expansion in 2002, the family-owned company grew to 11 dealership rooftops across Central and East Texas by 2025. In 2016, WC Tractor received Kubota’s Elite Award of Excellence and was later named Rural Lifestyle Dealer’s 2024 Dealership of the Year, recognizing its outstanding business practices, achievements, and commitment to its employees and customers. Under the leadership of Chris Wackman, WC Tractor has continued to build a strong reputation as a leading Kubota dealer, with multiple locations earning Kubota Circle of Excellence recognition and maintaining Kubota Elite and Kubota Service Elite designations. WC Tractor strategically divested its three New Holland dealership locations in Brenham, Dayton, and Sealy to Splintered Oak Equipment, allowing the company to further concentrate on and support the continued growth of its Kubota operation across Texas.
Over the last 5 years, Performance Brokerage Services has advised on the sale of nearly 450 dealerships, making it the highest volume dealership brokerage firm in North America. Pat Albero and Dan Argiro, Senior Partners of the Equipment and Commercial Truck Division for Performance Brokerage Services, were the exclusive advisors for this transaction.

The dealerships will remain at their current locations and will be renamed Splintered Oak Equipment.
