We are pleased to announce that Performance Brokerage Services has just facilitated the sale of two dealerships in Tracy, California.
The dealerships changed hands from Mr. Tom Nokes to the Premier Automotive Group headed by Mr. Troy Duhon.
The two dealerships, Hyundai and CDJR, had failed during the 2008 economic meltdown and Tom Nokes, a long time multi-dealer in northern California purchased those and turned them into successful, high volume operations.
Last week, the dealerships changed ownership again. The new owner is the Premier Automotive Group, based in New Orleans.
A few years ago, we assisted the group with their first dealership acquisition in California, Poway Toyota. And now, with their latest acquisitions, Premier Automotive Group and Troy Duhon have increased their portfolio to 12 dealerships of which 5 are in Louisiana and 7 are in California.
The operating partner in the Tracy stores will be Tony Pappas. Tony relocated from Florida after 22 years of managing one of the top Hyundai dealerships in the nation.
Tony Pappas is very excited about the new challenge ahead and sent us the following email:
“Let me start this out by saying to any motivated person who has a desire to become a dealer, there should only be one person you ever contact, and that is Jason Stopnitzky! Almost one year ago I made the best phone call of my life to Performance Brokerage Services and today I am the proud owner of two Image compliant franchises. There are not enough words to describe the level of expertise Jason and his business bring to the table, but this man genuinely cares about the opportunity he facilitates to each and every one of his clients.
If many of you GM’s like me are concerned about the steps to buying a dealership, Jason will patiently lead and educate you through every step of the journey. I resigned from a 22 year position of General Manager of a top performing Hyundai store in the country, moved from Florida to California, sold my home, and all of this is because of Jason and Performance Brokerage Services. In closing I will also say that while my dream of ownership has finally come true, my friendship that has formed with Jason is lifelong!! Regards, Tony Pappas.”
We appreciate Tony’s kind words and wish Troy Duhon and Tony Pappas the best of luck and are confident that they will turn the acquisitions into a huge success.
