Both gentlemen are extremely knowledgeable and have a passion for what they do.”

He would eventually own numerous dealerships including Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, Acura, Nissan, Chrysler and the subject Honda dealership. By building four dealerships in Olympia Auto Mall, Mr. McCarroll was an integral part of the construction of that auto mall, currently the largest auto mall in Washington.
Regarding the future buyer for his South Tacoma Honda dealership, Partner, Ronald Loper stated, “We wanted a buyer who would not only carry on our commitment to our customers, but also appreciate the success of our entire team of employees.” After selling the car dealership, Mr. Loper commented on the high quality service he had received from auto dealership broker, Performance Brokerage Services, “Confidentiality was carefully and successfully guarded during the entire transaction. They did what we asked and what they said they would do. They delivered!”
Ed J. McCarroll’s daughter will continue to own and operate Capitol City Honda in Olympia, along with his son-in-law.
In 2012, American Honda Motor Company awarded Ed J. McCarroll the 40 year award in recognition of being a Honda dealer for 40 years. In 2013, Ed received the “Robert P. Mallon Dealer of the Year” award from the Washington State Auto Dealers Association (WSADA). The award recognizes the recipient’s contributions to the auto industry, quality dealership operations and outstanding community service.
Moshe Stopnitzky, President of Performance Brokerage Services and the representative for this transaction stated, “South Tacoma Honda has had a long history of being a first class dealership, respected by its customers. I am confident that the Gees and their affiliated company will be able to capture that goodwill and carry on its reputation of excellence. This transaction also represents a milestone for Performance Brokerage Services, Inc. The sale of this dealership marks the 40th transaction for the principals of the company, in the state of Washington alone. It gives us great pleasure to celebrate such an achievement, while working with first class clients on both sides of the isle such as Ed McCarroll, Ronald Loper, Ryan Gee and Jeff Jackson.”
